Zoya Ministries took a team of 51 missionaries from Texas (including some of the youth of Grace Outreach Center), Virginia and Florida to the MOM orphanage in Otutulu, Nigeria. During our stay we set up a medical clinic which saw ~900 patients, provided food and clothing for the residents of the orphanage, distributed shoes, backpacks, and blankets, provided 4 wheelchairs (,including an electric chair for the headmaster of the school), funded a 60 KVA diesel powered generator, provided portable generators, electrical tools, laptop computer, DVD player and much more.

But the real reason we were there was to bring God glory by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. We did so from our early morning devotions to sharing the good news with the villagers waiting to visit the clinic, at the local schools (including a Muslim high school and a bible college).

All of us were touched and changed in some way by being there, and many were helped physically by what we brought and did, but we were there not so we could feel good or merely to satisfy their physical needs, we went there to bring glory to God.

God’s name was glorified for every sinner that repented and every time His word was preached unfiltered. And yes, His name was glorified every time a hungry or thirsty child was given something eat or drink in the name of Jesus, or a naked child was given clothes to wear.

To God be the Glory for ever and ever…Amen
