During our week at MOM there were three babies brought to become part of the orphanage. Each child that comes to the orphanage has in some way some uniqueness associated with his or her story and these stories are all worth telling. However because we were there for this one, I would like to share the store of one of these three, a little boy we nicknamed ‘Baby Moses'.
This little boy, just a few months old, was in a canoe with his mother on one of the nearby rivers when the canoe capsized and his mother, unable to swim, drowned. This baby was found hours later by some villagers floating on the water. Hence the nick name ‘Baby Moses'.
It's hard to know what God's plan is for this boy, but we know in time his purpose will be revealed.
