Bob and Barbara Kelly have been married for 35 years and have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They served as missionaries in Central America, primarily Nicaragua, during the 1990’s working with orphanages, schools, Bible Institutes, and churches. From 1997 to 2010 they have pastored the Spanish speaking congregation of Grace Outreach Center in Plano, TX.
In May, 2010, they will return to Nicaragua to work in the rural community of Nueva Guinea (5-6 hours from Managua), helping to develop a Christian school and a medical clinic. The vision is to not only give the children a quality education, but to also do several things: 1) Teach them a Christian worldview 2) Have quality science programs 3) See them fully bilingual when they finish high school and 4) Develop a quality music program.
There is in place an excellent team to work with - In Managua, a Nicaraguan foundation
"Fundación Nicaragüense para el Auxilio y Desarrollo (FUNAD)" which has been working
with the poor of Nicaragua since the early 90s, and in Nueva Guinea, Rodíver & Victoria
Amador have spent the last 15 years ministering to children, including more than
50 children that have passed through their mini orphanage.
We are glad to be part of Zoya ministries as they truly see the need to minister in all the world.
