Getting Started

 

  1. Pray - Ask God for His will concerning your partnership with Zoya Ministries Mission Team.
  2. Attend an information session held by a Team Leader.
  3. Submit trip application along with $200 deposit before specified deadline.
  4. Upon acceptance of your application by Zoya Ministries, solicit support for your mission trip cost from relatives and friends. A sample letter will be provided in your mission packet.  
    Note: Due to Zoya Ministries’ 501c3 status, once your application is accepted your $200 deposit is non-refundable.
  5. Apply for a passport or renew expired passport. Date of expiration must not be within 6 months of travel date. For more information about obtaining a passport, visit www.travel.state.gov/passport or your local United States Postal Service.
  6. Visit your physician or local health department to receive vaccinations that are specific for the area you will visit. Please visit the traveler’s health section of the centers for disease control (www.cdc.gov) for a complete list of vaccinations needed.
  7. Collect supplies needed for your trip.
  8. Submit all forms to Zoya Ministries 5 months prior to departure for trip.
